Application process steps

Application process goes through the following steps:

  • Contact made by the candidate with special needs or his family;
  • Submission of the form available online;
  • First candidate's evaluation with the support of a psychologist or a special education therapist – Identification of the qualifications and definition of the candidate’s functional profile;
  • Evaluation of the potential employers for the candidates with special needs in accordance with their qualifications and functional profile;
  • Development of the candidates' qualification and training programme, promotion of social skills, autonomy and vocational guidance;
  • Implementation of the professional starting programme, comprising: i) co-workers training; ii) employer's tutor nomination and training; iii) candidate’s first professional activity monitoring;
  • Monitoring (regular evaluation): i) weekly evaluation (between the 1st-3rd months); ii) 15-day evaluation (between the 3rd-6th month); iii) 3 month evaluation (between the 6-12th month9; iv) 12 month evaluation (balance and conclusions – end of monitoring).

From 16 years old.

Because in the end of the secondary education stage, a lot of these young people do not have a project for an independent life, it is our mission to provide guidance in this phase of transition to adult life.

How?

i) With a training programme aimed to develop professional, social and personal skills necessary to be happy at work and in life;
ii) Follow-up through a paid work seeking process of a suitable partner to the candidate’s competences;
iii) Mediation in labour context in order to achieve a win-win relationship to all the parties (candidate-employer-Association)
